Ophir has diverse experience as both an investor and a tech executive. He started his investment career at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he invested in the A rounds of Wix, Fiverr, and Intucell. He then moved on to hold executive positions at Similarweb, Funtomic (now Candivore), and, most recently, as Yotpo’s CFO, where he helped grow the company over 10x, and led two pivotal acquisitions.

What drives Ophir’s passion for secondary investing is a fundamental belief that building great companies takes time.

As Israel’s tech ecosystem matures, the journey from early-stage startup to a large exit has grown longer. Yet founders, executives, and early employees shouldn’t have to wait indefinitely for liquidity or face misaligned incentives that could compromise long-term value creation.

Ophir loves working with growth-stage entrepreneurs who will listen intently to his advice, but then will confidently ignore it and do what they think is right.

Ophir is a world-class bridge player, avid skier, poker player, and world traveler.
